Wow, 11 months already???

I went to the store the other day. While I was checking out the cashier asked me how old Kyra was. I quickly replied saying she was ten months. As I was walking to the car I pulled out my phone to look at the date, and it was the 13th. I couldn't believe it, Kyra was eleven months old to the date. I felt like I just started saying she was ten months old. I'm amazed at how fast time flies by, it's crazy! In one month we will be celebrating her first birthday. I've been trying to take monthly pictures of Kyra to compare to previous months. I don't notice the differences in her looks each passing day, but when I compare her monthly pictures, it's crazy how fast she is growing up.
Let's see at eleven months Kyra loves going to the library, loves crawling, loves dancing to silly songs with mommy, loves to eat anything even if she finds it on the ground, loves going for walks, she loves going to the park, she loves playing with her cousins, she loves her toys, and most of all she loves getting into EVERYTHING! Kyra makes being a stay at home mom so enjoyable. The pictures below are a few taken to capture her life at eleven months. The outside pictures, all she wanted to do was eat the grass, yummy!

Easter 2010!!!

We had a wonderful Easter this year, especially with Kyra. Saturday we celebrated Easter with my side of the family. We had a great dinner prepared by my mom, and an awesome egg hunt my dad put together for all the kiddos. My mom bought all the kids Easter outfits. Kyra looked like she was wearing a tiny wedding dress, it was so cute. The whole egg hunt was a new concept for Kyra, but she did a great job with minimal help from her mom and dad. Later that night we went to Nyssa to spend the night to celebrate Easter with Bryce's side of the family on Sunday. Kyra had fun playing with her cousins and participating in two more egg hunts. The weekend went by super fast, but it's always fun to spend time with both families and celebrate a holiday together. Below are some of our favorite pictures we captured this Easter. Dinner with friends!!!

I love these girls! We've all been friends for over 15 years. There is one girl missing, and that is Mary who married a guy from Australia. We miss her a lot, but she honestly is the best long distance friend anyone could ever ask for. Anyways, we decided a few months back that each month we would get together for dinner (families included)and take turns hosting. I was supposed to have the month of February, but the month flew by way too fast. I tried to make it work in March, but due to busy lives and such we ended up getting together April Fool's Day (only one day late). I made Hawaiian Haystacks with rolls for dinner and attempted party cheesecakes for dessert, it all turned out great. I love getting together with my girls, we have so much fun together. We sure missed you Mary. Hopefully if you come to visit this summer we can have one of our monthly dinners while your here in Boise.
