Who needs a Diaper?

A couple weeks ago, Bryce put Kyra down for a nap. He's not as consistent as I am about making sure her bottoms are put back on after he changes her. Anyways, it was nap time and Bryce put her to bed with just a diaper on. Later we came in her room to get her after napping Kyra was standing in her bed completely naked. Apparently she went poop, decided that she was not going to wait for us to change her, removed her diaper, and for good measure threw the diaper out of the crib on the floor. We know this has happened to many before, but it was our first experience and caught us off guard. Luckily her poop was solid and well rounded so there was not much to clean up. : )

Bryce's 30th Birthday!!!

We celebrated Bryce's 30th birthday December 12th, and what a day it was. We had a wonderful breakfast, gave Bryce his b-day presents, and went to church. After church I was preparing Bryce's favorite for dinner, peppered steak. Around 6:00 it was time to eat. We were just getting ready to sit down and eat when Kyra puked all over the living room carpet. I picked her up heading my way to the bathroom when she proceeded to puke everywhere. I handed Kyra over to Bryce who bathed her while I cleaned up the fun mess. Afterward everything was cleaned up and Kyra was acting normal again so we made an attempt to sit down and eat dinner. Kyra continued to puke again, this time Bryce was able to get her to the sink. So dinner was again set aside to clean up another fun mess. Afterward we decided to try and eat dinner again, but this time we took turns eating while the other watched over Kyra. Needless to say Kyra continued to puke the rest of the night. In addition to the fun I decided to join Kyra and puke too. Happy Birthday Bryce, we love you so much!!!

Bryce and Kyra trying to relax, Kyra puked in her bowl about 3 minutes after this picture was taken.

Hawaii vs. BSU game...

We have some friends in our ward, Amber and Brady Sibbett who have season tickets for BSU football games. They have another friend who is also a season ticket holder who was unable to go to the Hawaii vs. BSU game, so he was trying to sell his ticket. We got a phone call from Amber wondering if Bryce wanted the ticket for $20. There was one stipulation for Bryce going with them, he had to wear BSU attire. With Bryce being a die hard Ducks fan he had to think about it, but soon decided it would be a lot of fun. Bryce told Amber he had NO BSU clothes, so that's when Brady piped in and offered Bryce to borrow some of his. Later that day when Bryce was picked up, Brady had everything for Bryce to wear including a BSU shirt, sweatshirt, and hat. Lets just say when Bryce came downstairs all changed for the game it was weird to see him dressed in blue and orange. We both are so used to wearing green and yellow in support of the Ducks! Bryce had a great time at the game. Thanks Amber and Brady!

I have a feeling the reason why Amber and Brady made Bryce wear blue and orange to the game was to get us back for what we did to their little boy, Bradyn. We babysat him a couple weeks back and when he fell asleep we thought it would be funny to take a picture of him wrapped in our green and yellow Ducks blanket. For an extra we got Kyra's stuffed animal, a duckie to pose with him too.

Murder Mystery party!!!

Some friends of ours in the ward, Jake and Chelsea D'Addabbo invited Bryce and I over to participate in a murder mystery party. A couple weeks ago everyone was assigned a specific character along with a detailed description. The theme was "Desperate Neighborhood" along the lines of Desperate Housewives. For the party each person was advised to dress up as their character. My character was a single southern belle girl who was very flirtatious with "ALL" the men in the neighborhood whether they were single or married. Bryce's character was an Irishman who owned many local car washing companies. The night of the party we arrived to meet and mingle with everyone who was going to participate in the murder mystery. The investigation started right before dinner where everyone introduced themselves in character. Everyone was to stay in character for the whole game. Before sitting down to eat dinner everyone was brought outside to the site where the "murder" took place. Dinner was split up into four different courses, at the beginning of each course everyone was handed envelopes with new information involving their character that was supposed to be discussed at some point during that course of the meal. No one knew who the murderer was until the very end. It was a lot of fun trying to stay in character and solve the mystery. The whole night was an absolute blast. The food was delicious and the company was even better. Thanks Jake and Chelsea for a fun night.
