Kyra's TOOTHY grin!!!
Kyra has sure been a trooper while waiting for her two bottom teeth to come in, BUT this morning while playing around I realized they are finally poking through. If you look closely in the first picture, you will be able to see two white caps. I can't believe how fast my little girl is growing up. Love you Kyra!

First Sunday 2010!!!
NO pictures for this post, BUT trust me it's for the best! First and foremost I must say how thankful I am for my husband, he is definitely a trooper.
This year church is from 1:00-4:00. You would think it's not possible to be late for 1:00 church, but don't worry we were. Before going to church I was telling Bryce how I normally would hate 1:00 church, but now having a kiddo I think it will be the perfect time. I say this because Kyra was able to take a bath, sleep for two hours, get dressed for church, eat, and have a diaper change. All this took place before going to church, it was awesome!
We both noticed how happy Kyra was during sacrament. She was perfectly content. Once sacrament was over Bryce and I went our separate ways due to our callings we have. I serve in the Primary teaching the CTR4 class, and Bryce is the ward missionary leader, therefore each Sunday he teaches Gospel Principles to new members in the ward. Right now Bryce only teaches one family, so he takes Kyra with him the last two hours of church.
Anyways, I went to Primary for sharing time and there I met my new class for 2010. Once sharing time was all done it was a bit chaotic for everyone transitioning to their new classrooms and making sure everyone was in the right place. While getting situated and setting up chairs I looked up and there was Bryce holding Kyra who was only in her diaper with a huge grin on her face. Bryce informed me he was going home with Kyra because she had a HUGE blowout that got on everything, including her blanket AND Bryce's church pants. I quickly introduced Bryce and naked little Kyra to my new class, and they all giggled.
Once church was over I walked out to the car to meet Bryce and Kyra. It was then Bryce continued the story with a bit more detail. After hearing how many wet wipes Bryce went through to clean up Kyra's mess I thought to myself how thankful I am for a husband who was willing and able to handle a gross situation completely on his own.
Because I'm at home with Kyra during the week while Bryce goes to work I'm the one who normally deals with all her blowouts. Bryce is always thankful to Kyra for timing them so perfectly! Anyways, I think Bryce got his fair share today in that department of parenthood. I love you Bryce and thanks again for having a great attitude.

Christmas 2009 with Kyra!!!
Our Christmas this year was spent with the Ellsworth families. Each family seems to grow so fast on the the Ellsworth side, BUT with 15 adults and 18 kiddos we all had a wonderful time making more memories. We had our first bi-annual nativity, it was so cute to see all the kids dress up and act out their part. Afterward the adults had fun playing various group games. Pennie as part of everyone's Christmas present treated us to the YMCA on Saturday. We had a great time swimming around the lazy river, and going down the slides. Kyra loved the water and had fun with mommy and daddy.
Bryce and I had a wonderful Christmas, especially with Kyra. The morning started off with Kyra opening her stocking from Santa. She loved her new stuffed animal, and has already slobbered all over it. We then opened gifts around the tree. We decided to give Kyra her main gift and see how long it took her to open it, and with minimal help she finally got it after 20 minutes. Kyra loves her new bongos. There was actually one toy Kyra loved more than anything, the box top to her cousin's present. It was so much fun having Christmas with Kyra, and we look forward to many more in the future.
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!

Then and Now
1 year ago Kyra looked like this.....

And this was her this morning.....

After getting snow on her gloves, she started eating it immediately.

We then broke out the sled Grandma Ellsworth gave her to play with.

It was Kyra's first experience with snow and she loved it. We all had a lot of fun together.
